Default 1993 timberwolf

I have a 1993 timberwolf 4x2 that was sitting for about two years. Did compression test which was good. Cleaned carb and did a carb rebuild kit. Changed oil and corrected timing marks on head and base. Am getting spark. Can't figure out why it only runs when you hold throttle all the way back and let it go it will fire until fuel runs out. Will not run if fuel or starting fluid put into carb. Any ideas? Also it did run when put into storage. Also love the forum all of everyone on here knows what they are talking about and give great advice.

STILL sound's like the carb to me pull it all the way off take the jets out clean them all well try moving the clip up 2 notches on the neddle and put a inline fuel filter on it before you even put the fuel line back to the carb you can get one at autozone or any part stores just cut a lil piece of line off and carry it with you to get a good <SNUG FIT. good luck

Did what you said and finally got a chance to get back to working on it. Found exhaust plugged and intake valve was bent. Replaced parts and runs great. Thanks for the help.
