Yeah it's pretty much the same....the HMF optimizer is basically a dobeck controller--which is not as controllable as the PC 3--it will do exactly what you need. the optimizer from HMF should come preset to the numbers they have found on thier dyno. they are adjustable just not quite as much as the PC3---It's a good system for a single--duals are the way to go for most power--but they are much more expensive.....
