Default raptor 660 starter problem weird thing

i know the starters suck, but have you ever heard of a starter continuing to turn over after hitting the button, even with the quad in gear and the clutch not engaged (the quads starter was driving the quad!) it eventually stopped on its own after maybe 10 seconds. there was no stopping it. this happened on the track, and was kind of embarrassing

either your starter was sticking or your one way bearing went out--which is common on 660 raptors, if it's the one way get the L&A (may now be called L&L)--they won't fail again.....like the stock replacement will.....good luck

when i had my raptor, mine did the same thing. My problem was the battery relay was sticking! If it did it, i could tap the relay and it would stop!

The problem is caused by your starter solenoid sticking and this will damage your starter one way bearing, if hadn't already, so this needs to be corrected by replacement .
