Just get the HMF man. I got mine in a week off e-bay (had to ship from HMF). It was only $227 + free shipping.

HMF would be too loud for my taste. I want a performance increase without a really loud pipe. Where I ride I have neighbors and cows close to me so I dont want to run the cows and I dont want to bother the neighbors. I dont mind paying the extra for Yamaha quality that I trust either though

Thats funny. The dealership that is selling that is a local dealer to where i live. Only about an hour or so away. Good quality dealership, i have had many friends buy from them.

HMF pipes can accept quiet cores ... one core takes you down to ~96db. Exact same db as the GYTR.

I dont blame you if I hadnt already bought one I would bid on it too.
Let me know if you win it, and which one you like better the HMF or the GYTR, we could have a definite final opinion on which is better for noise and power since you would have both.

i barely had enough money for the skid plates, which are awesome by the way. i need a job, lol. i finally got around to putting my skids on yesterday and they look real nice. i haven't gotten a chance to test them out yet though, i'm gunna do a maintenance today and hopefully go riding after with a couple buddies. my one complaint is that the bolts should be allen head. if you hit a rock and bend one of the heads on those bolts your gunna have a fun time getting it off if you need to. maybe i'll pick up some hardened allen bolts next time im at ace or aubuchon (however you spell it)
