Default 04' Bruin snapped bolt removing pull starter

I have some ticking noise going on in the upper part of the motor. Following the directions to adjust the valves, I snapped 2 out of 4 of the bolts that hold the pull starter on. I have not tried to remove the other two yet. I tried going forward and back on the bolts to loosen up the loctite on the bolts but before I knew it I snapped two of them. The remaining two I am going to try and heat. Question is how do I remove the snapped bolts. I am going to try and drill a hole through the middle and use an easy out. Has anyone had any success with this. Looking for any suggestions that I might try.

that's basically it, drill through the middle and use an easy out tool. they are probably installed with threadlocker, use some heat to loosen it up
