Default yfz450 vs. raptor700r

i have an 05 banshee with a nice set of t6s on it and im lookin at gettin either a yfz450 or a raptor 700r. i mostly ride in trails with lots of twistys. which quad do you suggest, speed/acceleration, suspension, and comfort are key issues for me since i havent ridden either yet (tho i plan on tryin both soon)

The 700 makes a better trail machine but both are capable in the woods.

Speed and acceleration is pretty close mod for mod, they just make there power differently.

The 450 makes its power up high and the raptor makes its down low. The 700 also has a ton more torque. The torque and the power down low is what makes it a better trail machine for me.

Suspention for handling goes to the 450 but for comfort the 700. The 700 has a lot softer set-up which takes away from the handling a little but makes it easy to ride all day with out killing yourself. A 07 SE/GYTR 700 with upgraded shocks or adding 450 front shocks to a regular 700 really helps the handling but you still get alot of the softer ride from the rear shock.

The 450 is uncomfortable for me to even sit on but maybe Im getting old lol
Try both and see how each feels for you but for trails Id say 700 is the better choice by far.

The 660's were known to be tippy but they addressed that on the 700. It is wider, longer, and has a lower seat height than the 660.

Now is it going to feel more tipsy than a 450 probally. It does have a higher center of gravity than a 450 but it in no way feels tipsy.

With the set-ups on the 2 in the picture the 700 actually has a lower seat height, sits a little lower and is wider than the 450.

Both are around 75 stock.

The 700 has a speed sensor that can be unhooked to gain more topend speed but not sure if the 450 has something similiar or not.
