Default Yamaha 660 Raptor Problem

My brother has a 2001 YFM660RN Yamaha Raptor. We just changed out the clutchs in it yesterday. Now that we have done this, the machine will not shift into any other gear besides first. The shifter will move, but it will not click as if it is hitting any other gears. Can anyone tell me why? Thanks for any help.

My brother fixed it while I was at work. He said something about a pin inside of the case where the linkage hooks up. I will ask him for a more detailed account tonight, and report back later this evening.

I remember when we took his down, we did remove the water pump, but it was no big deal. No gasket on that, just a rubber o-ring. If I remember, it was necessary to get at a screw to pull the cover. We also had to pull the front top and bottom engine mount bolts and lift the motor a bit, in order to pull the cover off past the frame.

Just remember to make sure that your clutches and plates go back on in the same order that you took them off. If I remember correctly, you will have 2 clutches smaller than the rest, and they go in specific places.

I think you are referring to the springs for the blots holding the Pressure plat, right. If I remember correctly, I think there was 5. We just reused the old springs. The only things we replaced when we were in there, were the Clutch Plates, and the Gasket for the cover.
