if you put in the right mods could a blaster go as fast as a honda 400ex or a 300ex?

 

I'd bet it could be a 300ex without much modding at all, if any. But sure it could beat a 400ex.

 

34mm carb, pipe, 240 kit, good port work, and you will smoke a stock 400

 

A 300ex, no problem at all. For a 400 smoking, I would agree with Fulltiltrider. Instead of the 240 kit, you could have your head plained to bump up compression and that would make a lot of difference. I think that you can take off .125 of an inch and still be ok to run on 91 octane.

 

you can usually almost double a 2 strokes cc or in more cases 1 1/2 times ur cc to be equilivant to a 4 stroke not quite sure if its true or not but i have heard of modded blasters beating banshees and u should know that a banshee would blow away the 400ex hope this helps

Yeah it would be a monster of a blaster for sure to beat even a stock shee.

 

I would say that a blaster with head work, porting, and a big bore kit; along with exhaust and sprockets would probably keep up with a banshee, but with all that money spent, why not just go buy a banshee.

 

it just comes down to what u really want considering banshees aren't very good trail quads there ment for the wide open spaces like sand

 

240 big bore 7mm stroker crank pipes all the good all around stuff makes the blaster as fast as a stock banshee so 400 ex yes keeping up with a stock banshee yes but really how many ppl have stock banshees
