Default Blaster for Son???

theres no way my dad woulda got me a banshee when i was 12, i had to either get the z250, 250ex, or blaster, he said the next 4wheeler i get, im paying for it. but im glad with wat i got anyway, i just wish it had a clutch like the blaster, but yea 2 of my friends have blasters (theyre 14 and 15 years old) and they said theyre lots of fun

liek i said before the blaster is a fun bike even my dad gets on it just because its such a blast to ride (blaster) and angain if he did get bored you could always mod it out

Default Blaster for Son???

Blaster completely stock are pretty tame. As noted, there's quite a bit of mods you can do to increase the power when you Son's ready: Pipe, jetting, reeds, 240 cylinder, larger carb. Etc. My son TT races a modified Blaster: 240cc, 36 Keihin carb, intake w/carbon fiber reeds and it moves real well. He also raced it in the 450 class once and stayed right with them.

there is a governor on the the throttle its just a little screww that u screw in and when he gets used to it just let it out all the way

does anyone know if you took out the govenor what would happin?or should you just take it out and then just barely screw it in?

The govener is basicly a screw threaded into the throttle assembly. It just controls the amount of throttle that can be applied. If screwed all the way out their would be no control IE: you would have full throttle. As you move the screw in-ward the throttle action is reduced more and more.. Also theirs a locknut on the screw that will need to be tightened down to hold the screw in place at the location you put it...

i think blasters a a blast to ride , i just bought a 1991 that runs good for $350 and its really fun to mess around on , iam 210lbs and 5'11 so i man handle it
