need advice

Default need advice

i have a raptor 350 and its a good machine but its not as snappey as i would like what adjustments or upgrades could i make to help me out

Default need advice

aftermarket air filter, jetkit, exhaust. thats where everyone starts. simple, bolt on mods that give a good increase. if your still not satisfied, a higher compression piston and an aftermarket cam with heavy duty valve springs. you can do it all for around 500 if you know where to shop (ebay). after that if you still not happy, trade it in for a more powerful quad.

also you can drop a tooth in yourdrive gear. this will help on take offs but you will loose your top end speed. this made a big difference to me. along with the mods mentioned above.

I agree with StngGT350. Those things are geared way to high IMO. Drop that front sprocket a tooth and you'll be surprised how much snappier it feels.
