to blaster or not to...

hey!im considering getting a blaster or a recon and i want to know if blasters suspension will stink when i get older and will the power too.im 15 and 5'1 (short) and 92 pounds.also will a aftermarket pupe help a lot.Is the suspension good for small(2-4 feet high)jumps?Also are they reliable and if i get works shocks will it be good to ride when im bigger?Thanks!!

with your size it shouldb't be a problem.

i bought my 8 year old son one.
im 5'-10" and weigh 200 lbs and it pulls my weight great... so for a small guy like you it should last awile.
any adults on here ride blasters??
im saving up for a banshee or a 250r.. income tax please come fast

Awww man blasters are great fun, Im 23 160-170 6'3 and have no problem with blasters lacking power, they are great you can beat the h#ll out of them, quite the ride also its so small that it makes you feel like you are going a heck of alot faster than you acutally are. Only draw back is they are horrible in the mud, besides that they rule, fast ride got the 2-stroke ummph and 6spd with clutch..

they sound awesome....so the suspension does work good for u bigger guys.????Ill probably get pro circuit pipe/silencer twin air filter and delta v force reeds .would it keep up with my friends warrior(which is stock except for super swampers)????thanks everyone!!Happy new year!

I have a 2000 Warrior and my 13 year old son has a blaster. Both have pipes, K & N filters, AMP links, and the Blaster has a Boyesen rad valve. He has no problem keeping up with me except on the extreme high end. He is 5'9" and weighs 135 lbs. Blasters rock!

I am 140 and 6'2 and ride a blaster.Sure it does get cramped at times but the power and performance make up for that.And as far as power mine is bored,ported,.025 pro-x piston and boyesen reeds and it will pull the fron tires up pretty easily in 1st-3rd gear.

How can an ATV that brings joy to thousands of enthusiasts be good for nothing? Quite a negative perspective if you ask me. Bang for the buck, you cannot beat a Blaster. Add a few dollars in modifications and you end up with a screaming ride for less than $3500. Grow up 3Raptor8.
