snapped a bolt need advice

Default snapped a bolt need advice

ok i snapped the left bolt for where you have to tighten the chain its pretty gay got any ideas on how to get the rest out so i can replace the bolt?? i dont really wanna drill it and i dont think vise grips will work..

You have no choice but to drill it, use a small bit, center it good and drill it very slowly, chances are you will lock the drill bit in the end, just unchuck the bit and unscrew it by hand, it is really easy, as long as you stay away from existing threads, I did this on my skid plate in my swing arm, I didnt tighten it to much though it actually snapped the head of the bolt off when I hit a rock or somethin' but this bolt had locktight on it, I also used this method on my cousins throttle body, he tightened a bolt too much and snapped it off, I drilled it with a small bit and I lightly hammered a hex head into the drilled hole and unscrewed it by hand.
