Default New 07 Wolverine Problem

Ok. I feel stupid even typing this. i just picked up a 2007 yamaha wolverine yesterday and after about 4 hours of riding i ended up flipping it about four times down a hill. (not my fault) and it came to rest. I flipped it back over, nothing is broke, or even bent. The real problem i have is with the plastic, one is a have a pretty mean crease on the left fender that i would like to get out and also how would i go about removing the scratches cause from the dirt? Thanks all!

P.S. Any know any quick HP mods to the new wolvie?

LoL you don't bro those are War marks..I know its brand new and you want it to look great, but keeping plastics perfect....not gunna happen..hehe,I like the part about its not my fault it rolled down a hill 4 times lol, that was a good one..You might want to change the oil and filter, after rolling a quad, plus for break in issues..Just be happy nothing else broke, thats a pretty good wipe out lol..My black 03 plastics look like hell after 4 years of beating on it,still runs like days one though

Search on this site for 07 Wolverine mods,I'm sure a few threads will come up with ideas...

dont feel bad jake, I rolled my wolvy after 12 miles so I know how you feel. All mine did is scratch the plastic and scrape the master cylinder cover. You cant remove the scratches easily so just live with them.

as far as hp mods. go with a pipe, filter, jet kit and a clutch kit for the biggest bang the quickest. But JE piston makes a big bore piston kit for the wolvy already. can make it a 449cc machine.

Yea - those scratches build character! It means your machine is used and ridden! I rolled my on Friday the 13th... and well insurance is going to fix it right up.. only because it had some decent damage (check profile pictures.. )

If you REALLY want to get rid of the scratches.. try using a heat gun from a distance... that will "Seal" the plastic... but it will only get scratched again and again and yet again...

I flipped mine and bent one of the handle bars pretty badly, I then was in a race and hit a guy in the rear and busted out one of my head lights, bought it brand new in Feb

wow i guess im either extremely luck or dont ride hard enough =]. i bought mine in january, got 750 miles and havent rolled it once. iv had some pretty close calls on jumps, trails, rocks that come out of nowhere, lol, but no rolls yet. im just waiting for the day that i do and hoping it isnt too bad. if you want your plastics to look good when its sitting in the garage, what you could do is buy a new set of plastics and switch them off every time you go riding =p. i did the same thing when i scratched mine up in the woods at first. if its creased REALLY bad, you could buy some new plastics, if you just wanna get the scratches out, you can use some stuff called plastic renew, from PC racing. i have a bottle, but im not sure how it works because i havent used it yet. good luck, dont hurt yourself too bad, lol
