checked the ignition coil.... remember, im new to the ATV thing. But i got about 28v running into the ignition coil. Yet nothing coming out of the spark plug boot when i crank it over. This mean the coil is shot i take it?

the only way u can check voltage on the coil is if u have a peak voltage adaptor for your multimeter, i would check resistance and insulation breakdown, insulation breakdown u should get OL on ur meter. the breakdown test is done by taking one lead to the primary side of the coil and to ground, if u get resistance, then the coil's bad, u can check the primary resistance by going from the primary side of the coil with a test lead, to the other side of the coil through the plug cap, you should get a reading with about 9 - 13 K ohms, if u get OL, then the coil is bad.
