I talked to WB, and they have it right now...is that a polished unit? The Yamaha pipe is backordered until end of January, at least, so I may get the WB if they aren't out by tomorrow. May need future jetting info from you, as I too like the looks of the power bomb. Thanks. R.

Anybody heard news from Pro Circuit...The ads aren't out (that's a good thing, since all others have ads and no backstock!) but the Raptor version is available...any experience with 4 stroke versions, ie. T4?

OK PEOPLE,

Based on availability, I went with a Pro Circuit (one of the first released, I might add)...I'm not beyond making a $200+ mistake, but I figure the silencer first and go from there. Besides, no other post has it so far, so it'll give us ALL a different angle, good or bad. I'd also rather risk $200 for the sake of research, than $500 for a full system that doesn't perform. The pipe bolted up real easy...10 minutes tops...A little sceptical about the coupling to the headpipe (it merely slips over with no clamp), but, then again, It's a flow through with no baffling, so it may not be a factor. They recommend stock jetting if the filter stays stock, so we'll start there...My 4-stroke buddy highly recommended this pipe, since he uses it on his 426 and loves it. I may try and richen the fuel mixture and go from there...For those interested, I'll post results as they become available...LATER.

Raptorup, get the new dirtwheels magazine. They do a great report on the full Gradon-proline exhaust system for the Raptor, and the DS,and its killer. The only complaint was, that they are loud. But I have learned that to get the real extra horse power, you will raise the db of a pipe. They do make a quiet insert, but it reduces peak horse power.I ordered the red anodised system yesterday, and had no problems.$400 for the complete system. They also make a polished aluminum version.
