Default Weird 240 blaster vs 200 blaster

heres the story my dad and i recently purchased a 1999 blaster with g force reeds, vitos 240,fmf expansion chamber, fmf power core 2,12 tooth sprocket, hot rod crank, holeshot tires, aftermarket clutch plates, foam air filter, and thats all i can remember ok now my 2003 blaster has power core 2 silencer fmf header pipe fmf carb jets, razr tires, and a k & n air filter.... me and jhim decided to drag race on the pavement so he said go and we both took off and we were dead even the whole way he was on the 240 and i was on the 200 he is also about 40-50 pounds heavier than me so what does this sound like to you does it sound right or what ...we both have the same level of experience and i almost think its got to do with the weight..let me know what u guys think

I would suspect the 99 is not tuned properly. It may need jetting or a larger carb to feed the 240 kit. I would not think 50lbs would slow the 240 down that much, however the Blaster engine is not what you can call a torque machine... Why don't you switch rides and race agian?
