Billett Axle Bearing Carrier
Tapered Bearing Carriers all the way for the reason's Jasonp stated.
A roundhouse carrier like Speedy22222222 is referring to, would require replacement of your entire swingarm. It's an eccentric carrier like the Honda's and majority of newer sport quads use: Lonestar Racing sells one for the Warrior for $1092

Well, no wonder the roundhouse is better. I think the $250 one will be just fine for what I need. What exactly is axial and radial load? I talked to a local bearing supplier and he said the tapered bearings will hold up to a lot more stress, but they are not sealed, where the dual row carriers use sealed bearings and have 4 bearings instead of 2. So I guess there are pros and cons of each. I have the dual row carrier on mine and no one before now could tell me if I had made the right decision when I bought it.

I would keep the dual if you have it...
Axial and radial load is just a different way of saying side to side loading and up and down. Tappered bearings just can take so much more abuse from a side to side load then a plain roller bearing.
That's ok that there not sealed as they have a grease fitting in the carrier and you just have to give it a couple pumps of grease every 50 hours or so so that way it keeps them lubed and water out..
The other thing is that it's like 80 bucks to replace dual row bearings, isn't it?? Tappered would be much cheaper.

Yeah I plan on keeping the dual row, I have never had any more bearing problems after installing the dual row carrier. So I'm not sure how much either one would cost to replace. I do know that a bearing specialist can get the same bearing as a Yamaha one ( just without the Yamaha name on it) for a lot less money. This is just a topic nobody ever seems to know much about. Thanks for the help.
