It is very apparent that Scrambabby 400 is very defensive, and Pro Active on slamming any non polaris machine. I just sold my Best all around 99 Scrambler 400 4x4. I just loved changing parts all the time. I also enjoyed changing the jetting every time the temp changed 20 degrees or just settle on crappy performance. The only thing your Scrambler 400 2x4 can do over the Raptor is pull a lawn cart.I still own a 97 Explorer 500 and have great luck with it.but if given a chose between the Raptor. The Polaris would be gone. My Scrambler wasnt half the machine of my explorer.I was constantly changing parts. I only had it 10 months and didnt dare drive it anymore. Wait until the skirt falls off your piston on that 400. It has happened to all three of my friends 98 and 99 400s. I love the raptor and dont mis standing in line at the polaris parts counter.

I'm not bashing japanese machines, I own a toyota.
Polaris engines may be made in japan but what about the other 95% of the machine.
I dont know maybe I to patriotic, or the prices for japanese replacement parts is getting to my wallet.
Gee I wonder why wonder why that is, maybe their trying to get the money back that it takes them to ship the parts overseas.

Here we go again, taking racial shots, scramboy when are you going to realize that your quad is far from a domestic product? Come on, are you really that stupid? And then spouting off about your scramblers versatility, you go NO WHERE that a raptor or 400ex can't go, remember you've got a 2x4. Your machine is fast in a straight line and thats it. Can't jump, doesn't handle and is nothing like a real sport bike or a real utility bike.

Your senario means nothing to me, if a hill is to ruff I lower the air pressure in the tires.
The only time I had trouble with a hill is when I went riding a month ago and it was covered with ice.
Lowered tire pressure and took it on from the side.
The raptor is equivilent to my girlfriends LT250R in gearing and low end snap, and she cant make it through the snow, thick mud, or steep well used hill. So dont tell me your raptor can do any better in those harsh conditions.

RACIAL SHOTS!!! rancheres I've delt with you before about comments of I being a racist.
You have'nt read about 10 of my 512 post I've made stating that I give the japanese companies credit for thier accomplishments on making the four stroke engine comparable to the two strokes.
