As far as your problem, you are going to need to up your idle and main jet sizes the next stage you won't get the results you want until you do, that will take care of your problem, try loosening the adjusting tension on the cable first, if that doesn't work make sure the rotor isn't bent, and if not remove the brake assembly, remove the brake shoes and pump the brake until the caliper is all the way out, then grease it well, reinstall and see what that does.

Yes, it's easy, now keep in mind I'm not talking about the needle that you have adjusted the c-clip on, I believe on your model you will receive a new needle when you order your upgrade on jets. Make sure and ask, Ok back to bus., the number is stamped on each one. It's easy to remove both, just turn your carb sideways where it is, if there is enough room, and remove bottom bowl, in case your not sure the pilot jet or (idle) will be the one, a small flat head screw driver will fit in, turn same as normal screw Lloose Rtight, and your main is the one that looks like a big bolt head. Prob. a 8 or 10 mm like everything else. For a possible quick reference if you have a owners manual (not parts or service manual. It will tell you in the specs section. I know this will work cause I took the spark arrester out of my z-400 and that alone made me upgrade my jets. It made even more power on the z once I put in a K&N filter and lid. I haven't found one for my Outlaw yet, but I know it will be soon. Anyway both did the same thing you talked about, and this corrected the problem. Oh and put the needle back in the middle position when you get the new jets in. Unless your needle came like my new one for the z and there was only one position.

sup, well i got the jets and installed them they did not come with a new needle so i put the original needle back to the middle position. ooooooooo it runs NICE!!! there's just one problem. it runs good but then it will rev up and cut out? what could this be? i was thinking my air/fuel mixture screw but i don't know how many turns it needs to be. i have it at 2 full turns out. it doesn't spit no more i know that.
