Which Yamaha would you get?

I've just purchase and put 10 hours on the 2008 Kodiak 450, not impressed as the machine appears to have significant problems with oil leaks from the rear differential output shafts. 10 hours of use and it lost 4 ounces of oil. Not a good thing.

Apart from the fact that yami renamed the kodiak 450 to the grizzly 450 beginning in 2007... I'd say your issue is not the norm... You need to get that thing back to the dealer and have them do a fix/find/or replace...

Yea.. I second that one... I have 512 miles on my Grizz 450 and haven't lost an single once of rear end oil! the only oil that has been lost was whatever engine oil makes it up to the airbox during off-camber travels.. and that is minimal at best...
Take it Back to Dealer and have it FIXED!
