Rims?????

ok, i've made my choice by going with the GNCC tires. but now i just have to find a rim that will hold up and not bend easy or at all. i saw that douglas and ITP both have steel replacement rims. what is your take on them? the c-series was one of my choices for a rim also. i like the way look and they sound stronger than the .190 T9 pro series. i think this is the hard part finding rims that won't bend.

The C-series are very strong rims. I'm not sure about steel rims. They may be strong, but they are probably much heavier than aluminum - not a good thing. Again, you can't go wrong with the Baja's, stock Yamaha wheels (Banshee, Warrior, Raptor 660 & 700, or YFZ 450) or the C-series. The Hiper Wheels are probably good, too, but who's got $800 to spend on a set of ATV wheels? Mainly you just want to find a rim with a strong outer edge. All of the rims have a strong enough center to hold up to just about everything.

well i looked at the c-series and they only have it in 9x8 not 9x9. the steel rims they said are considerable thicker than OEM rims. so i'm guessing they would be heavier than aluminum. i just want a rim that's going to hold up and not brake the bank. i don't want a rim that's too heavy ethier. what kinda rims do you have?

Me again. I have the factory 1997 Warrior wheels. Thay have been thru it and are still goin' strong. It's hard to beat the factory wheels!

are they aluminum? my front rims feel pretty light and are the stock rims so i'm guessing they are aluminum. i wonder if you can still get the stock rims off a newer warrior or off a raptor....?

Yeah, they are aluminum. Ebay has a ton of factory wheels on there. Thanks Hill for the support, I don't feel so abandoned and lonely now!
