clutch slips on my daughter's Champ?

I have an 87 champ 100,( my daughter's quad )the automatic clutch slips badly in second and third gear on hills. What do i need to replace? Or adjust? would like to do myself if not to hard.

I don't want to bring it to the dealer if i don't have to $$$ thanks

Raptorman01, Sounds like you need a new clutch they are not hard to replace if its the original clutch probably is deffinatly bad, I havent had any expierance with this type of quad but I had a kaw lakota which used the same type of clutch you can adjust by turning screw on clutch backwards and then turn clockwise untill it gets snug. At least thats how you did it on the Lakota. I would replace the clutch if this doesnt work, as I stated before its not hard save yourself some $$$ and do it your self, buy a service manual this will tell you everything you need to know and in the long run it will save you alot of $$$ in labor fees.
