Default Warrior leaking oil

I have a 1990 Warrior that was running rough. I rebuilt the carb, changed the spark plug to find the warrior idles great. It just misses, spits and sputters if you give it more than 1/4 throttle. It was doing this prior to the carb rebuild. Now I have noticed a few drops of oil coming from the top end just under the exhaust valve cover, but not coming from the valve cover. Is this the end of my warrior? Are these 2 problems related? Any ideas? Thanks.

The spitting & sputtering could be from the parking brake switch at the clutch lever. If it is still on your bike you need to go ahead and eliminate it. The oil leak could be coming from the head gasket and shouldn't have anything to do with the sputtering.

I had a similar problem with the oil from my warrior, but it was pouring out oil after a while from running it while only dripping. It turned out, as Raptor450 said, to be the head gasket (screws were loose and seal was therefore also loose).
