Default 2002 Yamaha Blaster

Hey guys, I just bought a 2002 Yamaha Blaster for my son, nice little bike, But the choke *** is broken off? I use needle nose pliers now & they work but i want to replace the *** or should i? & How?

Also I noticed the bike dosnt stay running when the gas valve is in the (ON) position? Only runs right when its on the (RESERVE) position? What do i do?

I Also changed the ehaust from Pro Circuit to Full FMF. Will i need to change anything now?

Thanks

choke **** is an extreamly easy fix, you just buy the parts or even a used carb and pull it out and replace it. as for fuel make sure that the pet **** is all the way on the run position take the fuel line off the carb and gas should gravity feed it self through, if not check the cap and make sure the breathers is not kinked the tank will not work if there is no breather. you absolutely have to re jet if you changed to the full fmf exhaust, your bike could run dangerously lean and then your in for some down time and new piston and a hone. if the bike was bought used, make sure that it still has oil injection a common modification is to block the oil injector off meaning you have to pre mix fuel. as for jetting i really dont know what you would run but there is plenty of info on this forum do a search
