Default 2004 Yamaha raptor 350 throttle cable

Trying to clean the carb and gas tank on my 2004 Raptor 350 but I can't figure out how to get the throttle cable off to take the carb out. Any ideas?

You have to take off a little cover its a shinny silver color and has three screw's phillip's head type and pull the cable out of the lil gap once you have it off you will see how really easy then once it's out twist it out the top of the carb...

For the filter, just inline between the tank and carb? Never thought of that. Thanks. This thing sat for about a year with fuel in, got it all cleaned up now and hoping for the best.
