Default TRI-z Help

in the proccess of rebulding a tri-z, one big question i have is when i got trike a tank was fitted above motor in false fuel tank.
i have the original that i have refitted under set but it doesent look like it will feed fuel by gravity very well as the tank is only a couple of inchs above carb, the trike is now fitted with yz 250 bike engine.
was their a mechanical or vacum pump fitted to the original tri-z engine????
Or does gravity work?? I cant see it working cus a up hill climb it will put the carb above the fuel tank??
any help will be recieved with thanks

Default TRI-z Help

I'm not an engineer but I understand as long as the fuel level in the tank is above the hose it will still flow even uphill. I had a Tri-Z years ago and never had a problem and the YZ 250 engine is almost identical to the Tri-Z engine.
