Default Griz problems

One day when i was riding in the snow in L it cut out and the R light up. I was going approx. 14-15 mph.
Now when i push snow it does it every once in a while. Anyone have any idea's what is wrong with it? or has anyone else expereinced this problem?

Default Griz problems

First of all, check your linkage adjustment. Take the side cover off. Put selector in H, make sure tranny is in H also. There should be a little slack in the shift linkage.
Secondly, there is a known problem w/ the Reverse sensor switch. There is a new, improved one available at your dealer, no charge. However, there is a better way to eliminate the problem altogether. The R sensor switch is located near the center of the machine on top of the tranny. Simply unplug the black plug and make a short jumper wire. Plug one end into the black plug and ground the other end. Now you will no longer has the issue of the sensor thinking it is in reverse when it is not and as a side benefit, you will no longer have a RPM limiter in reverse. The handlebar Overide button does not overide the Reverse RPM limiter.
This modification will disconnect the dash light indicating Reverse. However that is a small trade-off and all other gear indicators will still work just fine. If you have no light, you are in reverse!

Here's a link for more info.
