how can you teat a cdi and regulator on a yamaha warrior 350 thanks guys

 

This should help. Scroll down to the electrical chapter (7 I think) and it will tell you. Wire colors may not be exactly the same because this manual may not be for your year model.http://www.sandwizards.com/Service_Manuals/warrior.pdf

 

Best, easiest way is to just swap them out on a running machine and see if they work. There really isn't a good or easy way to test the cdi. Very rarely does a stock one fail, and when it does it's usually catastrophic burnout, and you can actually smell that they are burnt.

 

ok thanks just wasnt sure how to check them. i think my problem is the kill switch/ start stop switch. i tried a different starter clyc. i think the switch is shot because it dosent switch power from one side to the other
