I am trying to get my 86 yfm225 moto4 to run again after 3 years of sitting. I took the carb apart and had alot of corrosion inside. I cleaned everything up and can see through the main jet, but not the pilot jet. No matter what I do, I can't push a paper clip through it. Should this be open?
Also, when I put the carb back on and connect the gas line, sometimes I get fuel leaking out the back of the air filter side of the carb and sometimes I can't get any fuel to fill the carb. I have blown every port out with the air compressor.
Any ideas about the pilot jet and why fuel runs out or doesn't enter the carb assembly? Thanks for any help I can get.
