RAPTOR axle width and brand?
#12
Thank's for all your input guy's. I decided to go with the Lonestar. I ordered it from Nac's Racing. I decided to go with the Excaliber axle for two reasons: (1) I could'nt find anyone that has ever hurt one (I have heard of a few people breaking Durablue's.) and (2) Lonestar is located in Arizona like me so getting it warrantied would be easier. Lonestar's website is: www.lsracing.com

Hmmmmmmmm. The bill I got with the tires and whls. said 9x9 douglas, But it could be wrong. I never did measure them so I am not sure. I did just come from the bike shop and they looked in a catalog and they did show a 9x9 douglas wheel with a 3x6 offset. I know that when I put them on it made my rear width 2" wider than stock.

Bartman, yep lot easier to slide....and more predictable too....seems like with the stock setup the only way i could slide was in really loose stuff and even then i was always scared it was gonna hook up suddenly....only draw back though was loss of ground clearance....but where i ride i don't have to worry....you can really dive into the corners too...I always pushed too much with those tall front tires.....hope this helped

wideopenclub, I just ordered the ls axle and I wanna go wider in the front not alot because I ride alot of tight woods and plan on racing gncc. I tried everywhere to find a rolled edge offset 1inch wheel and cannot only .190 1inch wheels my question is how are the wheel spacers I have been told by a # of dealers that if I ride hard dont go with wheel spacers because they are hard on the spindles. How do you feel about the wheel spacers or should I go with a off set wheel.
