Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a used Wolverine. This is going to be my first ATV, so I've been looking at some 95-04 models. Just something relatively cheap to start out with. I've been doing some reading up a few different makes and models and I seem to like the wolverine. Seems like a good compromise of sport and utility machine. I'm just wanting something I can ride back in the woods every now and again. I'm not into any serious off roading, just some old dirt trails and maybe the occasional mud puddle. Also, possibly plowing a little snow with it. Again nothing too serious, just my driveway about about 75 feet long. Probably only 10-12 times a year if that.

Just wondering if there are many common problems that the Wolverines have or are prone to and if many people have used them to plow snow. I'd appreciate any comments or recommendations anyone can give me. Thanks

 

i use to have a wolverine it did not run when i got all i to do was cleane the carb it was pretty bang up from the old owner but she still ran her but off the only thing i had go wrong was i getting was in the gas tank i even went into a pond and pushed it out and it started right up with no problem they vary good bikes i would get one i never got stuck with my

 

I love mine. found it pretty reliable and good aftermarket for mods. parking brake = useless best bet put in gear and remove all the wieght it adds. theres a switch in it that stops rpms that can cause issues. just unplug switch and thats out of the way... engine has been around for a while not much to worry about...

So my Yamaha Wolverine350 makes a humming or buzzing noises as I start to accelerate somone please help
