the suspension is good on them i ride on ruff trails sometimes, the only bad thing with the stock suspension is if you are hitting jumps when you land its not to great, for big jumps

 

i also hear that the new kfx450's are pretty sick though

 

Im down to a Raptor 700r or a TRX450r...

 

well im gonna say if your gonna race go with the 450 but if not get the 700

 

I stand corrected then lol I guess Yamaha updated the shocks for the YFZ and the Raptor for 08..To bad they left the rest of their quads hanging[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]I don't know though..Do the New raptors have dual or tripple rate springs??That is what you really want for trail riding..I also can believe the techs around here don't have a clue about the 08's yet lol

 

thats just my opinion and ill tell anyone when your goin down a rocky trail it feels like your on a utility quad its just that comfortable, but if u want to bitch about the suspension buy new shocks.

 

Go with the Raptor you won't be sorry

'08 and up YFZ and Raptors come with the Special Edition shocks and they're much better than the original stockers! Raptor is a great trail riding sport bike IMO. The Honda 450r isn't too bad either though...</end quote></div>

Yeah the upgraded shocks for the Raptor are very nice........
