Also when I dropped the clip on the pin to the 5th notch I got alot of power out of the machine.

I think your adjusting your clip too far out..... is it making it harder to start when you adjust it that much?

Answer to previous post-I live in ohio so elevations should be similar. After reading your posts here is what i would sugest based on what I have come up with research. I am still trying to decide what setup I am going to run I just bought another 01 warrior that is bone stock even original tires. I found this info on the fmf website. they suggest a 150 to 152 main jet w/stock needle in the 3rd positon, fuel screw 1.5 turns and remove airbox lid snorkel. sounds like you have the airflow i would go with the settings they give and go from there. Keep us posted to the results

yeah, you may want to go with the 152. The carb on the warrior is a pain to get setup right.

But 5th position on the clip sounds way to far out though, thats why i asked about starting issues.

Or buy a edelbroke carb for $500 and problem solved.

ok, now I feel dumb.. I called Dynojet and they stated that I need to recheck the nozzle and make share it was a 150 because it didn't make sense to them either. I found that my friend who was helping me with my problem gave me a 136 jet and I didn't check it before I put it in. I have every thing in right now, the clip on 4 notch and 150 jet. I have the air/fuel screw out 2.50 turns. The machine is very fast but when you sit in neutral and rev the engine I still bog out. Also I had more power at the low end when I had the clip on the 5th notch. The plug looks alot better with brown around the base and still white on the electrode. Dynojet says gas now burns cleaner so that is ok. Mfglideman, if you read into FMF page, they mix racing gas and reg gas to make a 50/50 ratio. I am ranning straight reg. gas. The orginal needle is longer then the needle that comes with the dyno jet kit which helps with the higher speeds.

your not going to gian any advantages by mixing 50:50

I agree. That is why I put the dyno jet needle in. So does any one know why when I rev the engine it bogs out right away with the new set up?
