has it been painted before?
If not just sand it..... with a very light grit sand paper.... 600 or so. I can't remember what we used.... n then go up in grit size(lighter) as you recoat.

no it's never been painted. and it really doesn't need it. i'm just finding things to take up my time since i can't ride till i get a toy hauler

yeah i probably could rent a truck but that could get spendy if i just want to use it for the weekend. plus knowing my luck my 4wheeler would end up going through the back window.

If you rent a truck, get the extra insurance, that way the 4 wheeler could go through the window and you won't have to pay anything. I ripped the tailgate off of a brand new Z71 that I rented one time. The truck only had 15,000 miles on it, and it pretty much ruined the whole bed. I even had to duct tape the taillight back on! Luckily I had the extra insurance and didn't have to pay anything and it didn't go against my insurance.

renting a truck just for a weekend could get spendy. i don't know if i want to pay 200 bucks just for a weekend

it's all good. i think next weekend i'm going to start taking off all the plastics cause even if i don't paint it i can give it a good cleaning. and your Avatar trips me out terrell
