Default YFZ450 VS 450R

Hey guys. Im currently trying to decide which way to go. Im in the market for a new quad. The choices are 450's....either honda or yamaha. I currently have a yamaha and am a huge fan of their quads. I love the way their 450 feels and rides. I also like how the hondas perform. Minus the need for high revs to make power.

What are the downfalls of both?

Do they both require valve adjustment?

Thanks for all the help in advance!

neather have a downfall both are great quads. yfz450 is better for freestyleing i think and the 450r is good for long desert rides. both do good on the track and both need valve adjustment but it is very easy. btw both yfz450 and 450r loved to be reved. the yfzs even more so.

Ya, both great quads. I love the way the yfz sits more so than the 450R but, everyone likes different things. Go sit on both of them to see what feels good. Ride them both if possible before making a decision. You won't be disappointed with whichever you choose.
