Default warrior help

I have a stage one Hotcam, It's ok for mild use, but I'm looking into pulling it and going with a diffrent one, either webcam or DR X1 grind cam, and putting the hotcam in my bigbear...

You don't need a jet kit, its cheaper to buy one jet main jet at a time and see what works best... 148 (147.5) or 150 will most likely fit your application...

Here comes one of those lengthly cam argument threads. Ill go ahead and start it. I went with the stage one Hotcam, it made a small but noticeable power increase at high rpm. I am happy with it for 130$ and under 2hours work. However if I had it ported and polished and/or was going to put more time and $s into it I would more likely go with a different cam. I dont want to put big $s into a Warrior especailly an old one like mine. I save most of my $s for a newer faster quad. I also went with a painted Cobra exhaust which Im not dissapointed with for 138$ and use a filter of my own design instead of the expensive K+N.

i had my head ported n polished, n think my bike should make more power, however the hotcam does it's job, plus i already had it.... i may go diffrent, but with a stock setup its a better cam than with a more built setup..... IMO

My opinion: The e-series exhaust doesn't sound that great. They seem to perform pretty good, though. I still believe in the $220 slip-on HMF for the Warrior. Everything else you have is OK, except the stage one cam. At least try to get the stage 2, but preferably the .430" Webcam is the way to go.

On mine I had a P&P head, bigger valves, and the .430 Webcam with a stock piston and in ran real good. I thought the cam would be too much for the piston, but it did fine. 2 weeks later I installed the JE 366 kit. If you do this a 14 tooth front sprocket would be a good choice also.
