Default New to me Warrior

Well my kids have gotten the bug so I picked them up a couple of China bikes. (one is 5 and the other 12) I will buy them real 4 wheelers if they stick with it.

In order to ride with them I picked up a used Warrior. Since I am an UpgradeAholic I wanted to get your advice on what I should look into first. I am not into Racing it will be more trailriding than anything. What are the Warrior's weak points? Suspension? Carb? ect.

Suspensions a little out dated and they are a little underpowered when compared to the competing 400 class wheelers but, they are proven to be pretty reliable.

I'd put a good filter on her get an exhaust and re-jet properly and call it good. Should get around the trials nicely. Looks sharp too. Have fun with her.

The first thing to go on any Warrior I will ever own will always be the suspension. For reliability they dont have any weak points. Performance wise the front shocks are the worst thing by far. They are not known for making tremendous power but I dont think its any one thing causing that just not designed for high power. I think you can make one keep up with a Z400 or a little quicker than a 400EX pretty cheap, mines almost as quick as my freinds z400 from 0-60 and I dont have much in it. I think you hit sort of a barrier past that though and have to spend big bucks to go any faster. Should have no prob whatsoever keeping up with china quads though.

Well besides the kids on the CHina Quads my best friend has a Polaris 330 Utility so I should be good. I knew this wasn't the fastest quad when I bought it but I also read that these things are very reliable and just keep running and that was a big seller. As I have learned while playing with cars and street bikes. The more performance you add engine wise the more you will be working on them. So for now I will upgrade the filter, exhaust and then suspension. Other than that I should be good.
