i just disconnected the control unit and tried to start it, didn't work

I would guess a bad ground somewhere...Have you hooked a timing light to it to make sure your in time? It sounds like you could be out of time. Just a thought!

hello i have a yamaha banshee that only wants to get spark every 5 kicks, i put a new stator, coil on it i have a feeling its electrical problems but i dnt know im fustrated!!! plez someone help me
