Custom Front Bash/Skid Plate - Grizzly 450

Well
After a month - I finally got my skid plate from the shop.
Before - stock plastic... as you can see it is beat down!

After - 1/4" Thick 5052 Aluminum!!! Woo Hoo!! no bolts to drag either!!

I mounted the front to the Winch plate and the rear is same place as plastic skid.

Yea, it is Super Heavy duty! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] But the Yamaha Alumimun skids are only 1/8" thick and are getting quite beat down... Those are getting replaced with 1/4" once they wear through...

Very nice and heavy duty without being overly heavy.
If you really wanted to get fancy you could of water jet or laser cut the Yamaha logo in the front. My brother in law did something like that for his Honda.
But then he worked at a place that had the equipment for that so it didn't cost him anything.
