you can get a new entire carb assembly from powerpartsplus for $163.82, you probably wont find one cheaper unless you go with a used one.

just go to www.powerpartsplus.com ,go to Yamaha ATV parts, Yamaha OEM ATV parts, select the Brand, Type, year, and model, and then go to Carburetor....you can order a new one from there.</end quote></div>

UNBELIEVABLE! I owe you big time MIwolvy. If you're ever in New England, let me know, I owe you a few beers!

Thanks alot,
KC

Default Broken Wolverine carb

Hey Guys, First time here and already I have an answer to a problem. Thanks.

My wife has a 2005 450 Kodiak that has a bad carb. It has plagued me for a year and I'm fed up with it. It floods and pours gas out the overflow after being bounced around a bit. The float sticks and it will not shut. I've had three needle/ float repairs and a carb kit it it and it will still act up sometimes. I can't trust the thing. I was in the process of trying to source an aftermarket carb as the dealers here just give me the runaround. I'll try to get one from the site you suggested. Thanks again, it was very timely information.
