Hey all,

I have a 2001 blaster. Acquired it from someone after it had sat for awhile. I am now trying to get it running.

When I turn the fuel on and try starting it, it just keeps cranking and cranking. Fuel pours from what looks like the overflow from the carborator. I have taken apart the carb and clean it throuroly thinking that maybe the floats were stuck. However it continued to do it. I haven't flushed the tank which I probably should. Does anyone else have any suggestions to get this thing running.

P.S. At one point I had it running, but it would still overflow and it seemed like it was smoking a whole hell of a lot. I understand that it's 2-stroke and is going to smoke some but this seemed like a bit too much.

from the sounds of it your float is still stuck and yeah depending on how long it has been sitting that fuel may be bad now
