well texas is the same .... hot feels like a giant pressure cooker. me and my friend went out to the barn today and took the warrior out to the sandbar again and before we went i looked at the airfilter and it looked like ... a dirty ash tray or something really dirty. so i tried to wipe someof the crap of it and then went to the sand bar and on the way there it seamed like it wasnt maxing out like it didnt hit the powerband or something like that ...... idk but it was funn and we fished the redriver 4 catfish for a while using frogs we found there and got a gar that was like 20 inches ...

we drove through arlington TX on are way to phillmont its a boyscout camp in camaron NM i think... we stopped and ate at big tex to but idk if that was in arlington

how do i know what kinda filter to get at auto zone or w/e the one on the warrior seemed really long .. so do i just get one and hope it works or are they all the same diameter or what?? and if i do get a new airfilter would i notice a increase in power if i took the airbox lid off?

if you go to them they can look it up and get the correct one for your warrior just make sure you get the drop in OEM replacement, unless you have a billet adapter in your airbox already then you can buy a clamp on K&N filter, and yes you will get a gain in power and sound when removing your airbox lid...but you might have to rejet and i wouldnt do it if u ride and diry dusty conditions without an outerwear.

ok so 2marrow if i go to a autozone and ask them for a k/n for a warrior 350 they will go look it up and get me the right filter? and what is a billet adapter? and a outerware is one of those very fine mesh things you put over your filter right?

do you think i should rejet it if i get a new filter?

I think he was recommending rejetting if you take the airbox lid off. A new K&N should not warrant a rejetting. Make sure you have the year of the Warrior when you go to Autozone.

if you look in your airbox, and theres a piece of metal in there that your filter hooks up too than thats a billet adapter for a clamp on filter, if not and u have the cruddy stock design then just get the OEM replacement they just drop in and dont hook up to anything. u will not have to rejet if you do that, but you buy a new filter and decide you want to run without your lid, which i dont reccomend unless you have a clamp on and an outerwear which is like a sock for your aircleaner, then you will have to rejet most likely due to the larger amount of air the bike can pull into the carb.

ok well i was wondering if it was worth fixing it up and putting some money into or should i look around and look for a shee or something but my parents are against the idea of another 4wheeler so i guess i will fix this one up... will a warrior do ok on the sand if i took it to like some actuall sand dunes with sand tires and stuff?? my cuz has 2 shees and his brother has a 400ex do you think the warrior would kinda keep up with those or would it be better to get a diff bike?

it wont keep up with a shee at all. but a 400ex wont be too far from your capability, the way mine runs i can outrun a 400ex fairy easy, but ive never took a warrior to sand dunes, sand really robs the power out of a bike, takes a strong bike to go fast in sand. me personally ive never went to a sand dune sadly. but youd better get some paddles or it will be a big pain.

hahaha sounds like my situation. I was given the warrior also and don't know what year it is etc. Not the stongest bike, but it holds its weight. We went out yesterday and it was wet... I would say the deepest 3-4ft of water. And the warrior without a lid made it through the whole day. Started right up and ran like a "Warrior" my buddies with 06-08 400ex, suzuki 450s, 450ex just having all sorts of problems.

Have fun with the warrior. It will let you do whatever you want to do with it
