I am thinking about buying skid plates for my warrior and wanted to know everyone's opinions on the brand to get. I am looking for something reasonably priced. What is the thickest? I was leaning towards prm or graydon proline.

I bought PRM skids for my Raptor. The swingarm skid is 1/4" thick. I had a DG swingarm skidplate on my Banshee which was ok, but the PRM stuff is the best I've seen, way more durable than DG and is in the same price range.

You might consider a Armadillo skid plate. It is 1/4 inch thick aluminium, fits well, and is durable. They are also affordable. Rocky mountain ATV sells them for ~$65. I'd avoid the DG Baja skid plates, they are pretty weak and don't fit right.

 

prmskids are made of the same stuff dg products are made of that is 6061 aircaraft quality aluminum there both good but i would go with prm it is a little cheaper.

 

We got AC racing skids for our Raptors and I have to say, Nice piece. The swingarm skid is a high quality unit. I look at PRM's pictures on there site and they just don't impress me. AC's price is good too.
