Default 05 Kodiak Speedo problems

I have an 05 Kodiak 450 that recently started displaying varying speeds. Even though I'm cruising along at a constant 15 mph the speedo display jumps all over the place like: 0, 8, 12, 7, 14, 3 ... etc. Anyone else have this problem, or know what it may be. It appears that the odometer isn't affected.
Thanks,

The speed sensor may be wacked up. Or the wiring to the speedo may be corroded or loose. I looked up the sensor at www.mrcycles.com, and the sensor is located on the secondary pulley shaft, I think.

You can find it under Electrical. It lists for $57.00.
