Blaster Won't Idle

Hey, All. I have a 2003 Blaster that I bought used. Took it riding in the sand (Glamis) and ended up burning up the piston (oil pump failed). Took the motor apart, had the cylinder re-bored and installed a bigger piston (Wiseco, 67mm, stock is 66mm I think). Got it all back together (using pre-mixed fuel) and now it won't idle. The Clymer manuel says this is likely a carb adjustment problem. Messed with both the pilot air screw and the idle thumb screw and the best I can get it a 5-10 second idle before it dies. This is with the pilot air screw turned 2.5-3 turns out (stock is 1.5 turns out) and the idle screw turned all the way to the right. Took apart the carb and could find no clogged jets and reset the float per spec. Carb does not apear to have been re-jetted. The only after market parts that i can see are a K&N air filter (which I have cleaned using a recharging kit) and a Pro Circuit exhaust. Thoughts?

check the cable adjustment on the tors. plus you might want to remove the tors anyways, they tend to fail, although your blaster is not that old it still wouldnt be a bad idea . everyone of my blasters had that problem , once i remove it , it was perfect . goodluck

The TORS was removed by the previous owner.
Not sure what slow jet is. Is that the same as the pilot jet? Must be because once I took a second look at that, I saw that it was clogged. Not sure WHAT I saw the first time! Anyway, I cleaned that out and reinstalled the carb--bike idles just fine. Thanks!
