I have a yfz 450 and the thing won't start so i replaced the battery with a 10 cell because when it does turn over it barly has enough juice to turn the moter over and still once and a great while it will fire right up but most of the time it barly turns over if at all and that was even when i droped a new battery in it. Any one no a fix??

have you checked the amp usage of the starter? sounds like it is using too many amps and dragging. that battery should start 10 quads.

Funny thing is when i bought the bike the kid told me he put a cbr 600 street bike battery in it because they had issues with the 450s not producing enough out of stock batterys. so i looked into it and people told me the same thing he did. and it has worked good uptill 2 weeks ago. so i'm thinking it must be somwhere in between the batt. and the starter but i'm not a mechaninc so don't know.
