shee' 02 vs. recon
#1
i have a 02' shee, bought it thinking i could add offroad tires, shocks and hit the trails. the yamaha shop says there is nothing stock on it. modified to do the 1/8 drag. possible could go around 90 to 100mph. same as the guy who i bought it from. another guy says he'll trade a 06 honda recon. i want speed but i like reverse, front brakes and push button gear change, not it not already been run so had. what do you think, good trade or not?

The 1st things to consider are, what's the Banshee worth, and what's the Recon worth? If the Banshee is worth more than the Recon, then sell the Banshee and buy the Recon or whatever you want. If the Recon is worth more than the Banshee, TRADE!!!! But keep in mind when trading, usually somebody gets screwed, so do your homework and don't let it be you.
If you like speed, a Recon may not be the quad for you, but a drag Banshee is too much for the trails.

i paid about 2500 for the shee, i a few minor issues, one being just below the clutch is a hole, it has no purpose but it is there, used when the shee was a bike i think. , just beside a triangle shaped cover, but this pencile size hole is leaking engine oil out of it. how to plug it?
more life then atv;s check out www.nwtw.biz, this is my focus on life, other than God and family.
thanks for any advise with the shee

JB Weld can patch a hole easily and cheap. Just get the oil off and drain the oil or tip the bike up on 2 wheels unitl the JB Weld cures.
You're right, there's definately more to life than ATV's - 1st comes God, family, friends, career, then ATV's!
