Is the banshee for me?

i think you should get a banshee. they are great. get pipes and an air filter and you are good to go. my friends raptor breaks more than my banshee. they are less matineance too. no you dont have to run premium gas you could run mid grade. premium makes it run better. i have to run premium because mine has a new head that has more compression. my banshee needed a rebuild when i got it but now it has no problems!!! if you are worried about gas get a single carb. that what i have and they give it more low end. get a lectron or trinity carb. trinity sells the kit on thier website. also if you could find one get a trx or atc 250r. maybe even a quadzilla 500. i always wanted a zilla but i cant find one!!!

yea those z400,s are pretty sweet it seems like suzuki is trying to make the z400 more track ready. i really want to see honda come out with a 400ex that can compare to it but for now the 400ex is left in the dark ages

honda seems like there afraid to really change the 400ex as there afraid theyll lose there long lasting good engine design, banshees require more maintenance in some ways more then 4 strokes but some ways not. when it comes time to rebuild youll be way more happy when you dont have to deal with valves, cam, timing chain, on a shee its very easy to replace pistons, and as far as the carbs there not as bad as people think id reccomend a tors elimination kit and buying a carb sync tool.

I love the link espessialy the first thing you see a Rino 700 kit that makes a Rino run 62 MPH on pump gas for 2500.00 wow could just emagine that on my Raptor. Though for where I ride my bikes that would be suicide.

Parts are no problem at all.I mean we are talking about a machine that was around for 19 years with almost no major changes. Now the old ones 87-90 I believe didn't have a arms they had j arms and there should be some conversion kits out there.

If I was in your shoes I would take a good look at a new YFZ450R with EFI as all you need to do is get on it and go. There is hardly any maintance that you will ever have to do on it. (If you go out of state to ride somewhere else no jetting required) JMO Good luck with your choice!</end quote></div>
uhm, that wasnt the question..
go banshee.

so whats the maintence requiremet on a shee or lt250r over a 4 stroke? also can you even get parts for the lt250r or banshee anymore? and how long till you rebuild a 2 stroke and is as costly as a 4 stroke rebuild?
This was the main question so yes I ansered it in a fashion that I belive to be correct that the new age 4 strokes are the way to go!
