I don't think you should be able to purchase a 4-stroke until you have cracked your shin with a 250r or lt500 kick start "foot slip-off". Should have to pull your right pants leg up before being allowed to purchase a 4-stroke.</end quote></div>

LOL! You're right, I had a chunk taken out of my shin by a 250R that I had to go get stitched up! Never got a chunk missing from my thumb by pressing my starter button on my 4 stroke!

Yeah the Mojave has a long kick as well. I had a beautiful 2002 Mojave once. I wish I woulda never sold that.
Did they make it in electric start?

my shee costed $300 to rebuild, but i bought an extra set of rings on accident($50).the single carbs cost like $460 on ebay an it comes with an air filter, 35mm trinity carb and manifold. my shee came with it when i got it too. oh scrambler400enoge how are the old shees faster? mines an 87(looks brand new) and it gets clocked at 75 miles per hour with premium gas new head, pipes, filter, carb, reeds, bored .50 over stock sprokets.is that too slowfor a shee? my shee is all i need.it can ride trails and drag. you should get like an 89-92,maybe newer if you cant find an older one.

it feels like you are going a whole lot faster than 75 on trails.</end quote></div>

In 1987 3@4 wheel action mag took a quadzilla, banshee, tecate 4,trx250r and suzuki 250r to a drag strip.Ok the quadzilla topped out at an even 80mph the shee topped at 78,tecate 76,trx 72,and the suzuki 70.I've been 75 on a quad and it is an amazing feeling of adrenaline for me and I love it and plan on finding a banshee or a zilla or an old 2 stroke. But no offense but with all those mods does'nt that sound slow for a modded shee? Please don't take offense because I don't mean any.

i know it sounds slow but it has a single carb and it doesnt get as much gas. its 40mm for both cylinders not 28 each wit the stock duals. i was always wondering why it didnt go faster too. it has stock sprokets and i could make the front bigger and the back smaller but i dont really care 75 is fast enough. if i wanted to go 100 i could drag my r1.
