Hey, we just bought a 04 yfz from a friend and we had to replace the battery already and now it cuts off when we press the throttle right when starting it and its quick to cut off. also, to drive it, you have to give a hell of a lot of gas and little clutch to go, is that normal? how do i fix these things? PLEASE HELP!!

my brother-in-law had one that was giving him problems. He messed with rev limiter (actually replaced it and it works great)! Just a thought.

Of course it is. You flooding a cold engine. My suggestion is to not do that and let it warm up.

Sounds like you new to the clutch. 450's are higher geared than other wheelers. Give it some time and you'll get used to it. Try feathering it a bit.
